How It Works
When you open the Pre-Commit Summary, UnfoldAI analyzes the session's file changes, command history, and git diff to generate a contextual commit message. The message reflects what happened, not a generic template.
Using AI Commit Messages
- Open the Pre-Commit Summary (Command Palette →
UnfoldAI: Pre-commit Summary) - Scroll to the Suggested Commit Message section
- Click Copy to copy the message to your clipboard
- Paste into your git commit
