Chat & AI Assistant
UnfoldAI's chat is not a generic AI conversation — it's an AI assistant that knows what's happening in your workspace because it has access to your monitoring data.
How It Works
Navigate to the UnfoldAI Agent tab to start a conversation. When you ask a question, UnfoldAI automatically enriches the request with relevant session context — recent commands, active issues, file changes, and agent activity.
This means questions like "What just happened?" or "Why did that fail?" get accurate, context-specific answers rather than generic suggestions.
Context-Aware Routing
You don't need to do anything special to get contextual answers. UnfoldAI automatically:
- Includes session snapshot data when relevant
- Routes debugging questions to context-rich analysis
- Pre-loads Episode context when you chat from an Episode card
- Enriches general questions with workspace awareness
Entry Points
You can start a chat from several places:

Chat Suggestions
Proactive alert cards and Episode cards include suggested prompts that you can click to start a contextual conversation. These prompts are pre-filled with relevant context.
