Command Center

Command Center is the primary UnfoldAI surface for AI-agent work in VS Code.

Use it to ask what changed, validate the latest AI session, create or open checkpoints, review Safety, and generate verification or recovery prompts.

What You Can Do

  • Validate latest session: run deterministic local evidence validation.
  • Create checkpoint: create a manual checkpoint before risky work.
  • What changed?: inspect the latest receipt or Activity summary.
  • Precommit review: open the existing pre-commit flow from the Command Center.
  • Verification prompt: generate a copyable prompt that asks an agent to verify first.
  • Recovery prompt: generate cautious copy-only guidance for a risky session.
  • AI Investigation: available only when signed in and enabled for your plan/build.
  • MCP-lite setup: copy manual config and review approval states for MCP tool requests.

Local Guest Behavior

Local deterministic actions work without sign-in:

  • Command Center local action cards
  • Activity receipts
  • deterministic Validate Session
  • basic Safety cards
  • manual checkpoints
  • verification and recovery prompts
  • checkpoint guidance
  • MCP-lite metadata summaries and approval requests

Cloud chat and AI Investigation require sign-in.

Privacy

Command Center uses privacy-filtered local evidence by default. Raw code, diffs, terminal output, full local paths, diagnostic messages, secrets, .env contents, and raw protected path patterns are not sent by default.

MCP-lite tools return metadata-only summaries by default and never restore checkpoints directly.
