Do I need a credit card for the Free plan?​

No. The Free plan does not require a credit card. Basic monitoring also works without an account. A free account is required for backend-powered AI features like Chat, Fix plans, Failure Reviews, AI pre-commit messages, and AI Welcome Back recaps.

Can I cancel anytime?​

Yes. No contracts and no lock-in. Cancel from your account settings.

Is there a trial for Pro?​

Yes. New Pro and Ultra subscriptions include a 5-day free trial. Payment details are required, and your subscription starts billing only after the trial unless you cancel before it ends.

Does the 5-day trial apply when upgrading from Pro to Ultra?​

No. The 5-day trial is for new paid subscriptions. Existing in-app Pro to Ultra upgrades follow the normal upgrade flow on your current subscription.

What happens when I hit a Free plan limit?​

Core supervision keeps working: Dashboard, issue lanes, queue, timeline, episodes, drift detection, restore points, and MCP remain available.

Free AI limits currently include:

  • AI chat: 10/day
  • Fix plans: 2 total
  • Failure Reviews: 2 total
  • Debug reports: 2 total
  • Pre-commit AI message: 3/month
  • Welcome Back AI recap: 1/day
  • Playbook saves: 1/month
  • Playbook saves: 1/month
  • Auto-apply fix patches: not included

What is the difference between Pro and Ultra?​

Pro removes the main AI workflow limits and unlocks features like auto-apply fix patches and premium chat presets.

Ultra is the heavier-use, early-access tier for routing and collaboration features. Some Ultra capabilities are already rolling out, while others are still clearly marked as rolling out or coming soon.

Does Use in Commit overwrite my existing draft commit message?​

No. When an AI commit message is ready, Use in Commit sends it to the VS Code Source Control commit box and opens Source Control, but it does not overwrite an existing draft.

How does Welcome Back work?​

Welcome Back appears after a meaningful away period, currently around 30 minutes by default, when meaningful activity happened while you were away. On Free, the AI recap portion is quota-gated at 1/day, while local recap behavior can still appear.

Do you offer team or enterprise plans?​
