Account Management

Account Requirements​

  • No account needed for basic monitoring (dashboard, episodes, restore points, drift detection)
  • Free account required for AI-powered features (chat, commit messages, reports)
  • Paid account for Pro or Ultra tier features

Authentication​

UnfoldAI uses browser-based OAuth for authentication:

  • Sign in with GitHub or Google
  • Authentication is handled in your browser, not in VS Code directly

Data Deletion​

  1. Local data: Uninstall the extension — local state is removed with the extension
  2. Account data: Log out using the UnfoldAI: Logout command
  3. Full account deletion: Contact us at the email listed on the UnfoldAI website
